Book Design

The graphic design class of Fall 2023 of InFocus Film School InDesign class was assigned to design a book and to format a special anniversary edition of the book currently in the public domain. I chose Peter Pan, because I feel as if there are many different ways Peter Pan could be portrayed. In my research a lot of covers were done from Wendy’s window or a pirate ship. I wanted it to stand out. To use imagery associated with Peter Pan would be copyright, So for my cover I pictured Never, Never land an island with water surrounding it lost boys waiting for peter and Captain Hooks ship in the distance but capsuled inside a bottle instead of a note. Colors that represented Peter and the classic story itself. Inside the pages I wanted to include some classic black and white old time story images and frames. The cover, spine, back cover, and all typesetting was done by me.
